TRUE Wallet: Less talk. More proof.
Everything in TRUE Wallet can be verified by a third party. A diploma issued through TRUE lands in the profile on its own. eID confirms name and identity. Skills come from the certificates you have earned. You write the rest yourself, and your school, an employer or colleagues can confirm both what you know and what you have worked on. The percentage shows how much of the profile is confirmed by a third party, rather than claimed by you.
Five things can be confirmed, and you confirm none of them yourself. A certificate proves something happened. On its own it cannot prove it happened to you, or that the file in front of somebody is the one the school issued.
Confirmed by eID. Not by us, and not by you.
Documents issued through TRUE can be checked against the original record. Files you upload yourself are marked as added by you.
A document can back a skill. So can someone who has seen you use it.
A role counts more when someone who was there stands behind it.
An education is stronger when the school's own document is attached, or when someone from the school confirms it.
Upload what employers usually check. The Stockholm Chamber of Commerce asked employers who run background checks what they look at: 97 percent take up references, 77 percent check previous jobs and 60 percent check education (Kollega, 13 June 2019).
Ask the person who signed your document to confirm it. They get an email with the document and need no account.
Upload the reference letter from your manager or teacher and ask them to confirm it. If there is no letter, they can write the reference directly in your Wallet.
The certificate from the workplace where you did your internship shows what you did and for how long. Ask your supervisor to confirm it, and attach it to the role under Experience.
A certificate of employment shows your role and dates with a former employer. Some also say how you did the job. Ask your manager or HR to confirm it, and attach it to the role under Experience.
A certificate issued through TRUE does not need uploading. Upload the others and ask the teacher or course leader to confirm them.
Forklift licence, hot work certificate, aerial lift card, CPR. Proof that you took the training the job requires. Ask the instructor or the company that ran the course to confirm them.
If you studied abroad, the statement from the Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR) shows what your degree corresponds to in Sweden. Upload the original file. UHR has certified it digitally, and a printout counts only as a copy.
Your page opens with who you are and what you can do. Then come your roles and your education with the documents that belong to them, and beneath them what others stand behind: the percentage and your references. All your documents come last. You decide what is public and what stays in your Wallet, line by line. It is one link, and new documents appear on it on their own.
Recruiters do not have time to investigate every claim. They open a profile and quickly decide whether it feels credible. On a TRUE Wallet profile they can see, on one screen, what has been confirmed, and by whom. That makes the rest of the profile easier to trust.
